Elevation A traditional lean-to style conservatory |
Elevation Plus This radical new system, unique to Ultraframe allows for a single or double hipped-wing lean-to conservatory |
ElevationElevation extends the use of the revolutionary Ultraframe clicklock technology to create a contemporary, stylish, flexible and configurable alternative to tralite 500 that is pure simplicity to install and offers great value for installers and DIY customers. As the direct replacement for Ultralite 500, Elevation has all the convenience of its predecesor. Local stockists, distributed throughout the UK , carry modular sizes in stock but if your design falls outside of these sizes, Elevation can easily be trimed down on site. Alternatively let Ultraframe manufacture the roof to your specific size requirements at a small additional cost. The roof offers all the benefits of Ultralite 500 but is even better. FlexibilityThe Elevation roof is
configured for use at between 2.5º and 10º -
a fully variable roof pitch. 2.5º is the lowest pitch attainable in a
practical on-site application,
meaning that Elevation is suitable for use on almost any property –
even bungalows and irregular shaped buildings. |

Showcased at Glassex 06One of the undoubted stars of Glassex 2006 was our conceptual Elevation conservatory, demonstrating the flexibility of the Elevation system to produce dramatic new designs for lean-to projects. The conservatory included a number of revolutionary features which, combined with the contemporary styling of Elevation, became the talking point of the show. Firstly, the pitch of a traditional lean-to roof slopes down away from the house which can restrict the pitch of the roof due to the difference in height between the top of the door at the front of the conservatory and the underneath of the soffit of the house. The concept design used a standard box gutter at the back of the conservatory and the roof raked upwards towards the front. This, combined with the side frames splayed outwards, gives an aesthetic and contemporary appeal normally associated with higher priced conservatories.
The concept was the creation of UK Design and Development Director Andrew Thomson, who said of the design "When owners of the conservatory sit inside and look outwards they have an expanding perspective both horizontally and vertically, thereby reinforcing the impression of a sweeping, spacious environment. The conservatory market is trending towards glass roofs; therefore the exhibit included Ultraframe's newly improved high performance Conservaglass."
Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback that we received during and after the show regarding the Elevation concept display, we are working hard to offer these concepts to our customers as part of our product range. Please revisit this site to get updates on this and other product developments. |
