Spirit level imageIntegrated spirit level Integrated into the aluminium ridge

We just wanted to make life easy for the fitters! Elevation has an integrated spirit level in the ridge, meaning that less tools are needed for installation and your hands are free to get the job done!

InvertabarInvertabar Revolutionary glazing bar configuration

The invertabar glazing bar reverses traditional glazing bar proportions by making a simple yet radical design change. This allows for glazed areas to be maximised, creating a much lighter, brighter look, which is appealing to homeowners. On an Elevation roof with 500mm centres spans of up to 4.8m can be achieved before additional purlin supports are needed.

The Invertabar configuration means that Elevation boasts un-matched thermal performance - the internal temperature is isothermal, meaning that the bars are the same temperature as the polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is available in 25mm or 35mm. Our standard 25mm polycarbonate out-performs competitors 35mm polycarbonate but then, what else would you expect from Ultraframe.

Eaves beamEaves beam Fully clad in PVCu for thermal efficiency

The Clicklock technology stretches all the way down the glazing bar to the eaves beam connection, as does the PVCu cladding that makes this roof so thermally efficient.  As there is no exposed aluminium on an Elevation roof, cold bridges are eliminated meaning that condensation areas that can occur on other roofs are eliminated.

The eaves beam can be fixed up or down and ensures that there is no frame wobble above doors (1.9m opening).

As with all Ultraframe roofing systems ventilation is foremost and the Elevation systems are no different - hit & miss controllable ventilation is integrated at the eaves beam and eaves for a comfortable interior environment all year round.

Elevation Concept

Showcased at Glassex 06

One of the undoubted stars of Glassex 2006 was our conceptual Elevation conservatory, demonstrating the flexibility of the Elevation system to produce dramatic new designs for lean-to projects.

The conservatory included a number of revolutionary features which, combined with the contemporary styling of Elevation, became the talking point of the show. Firstly, the pitch of a traditional lean-to roof slopes down away from the house which can restrict the pitch of the roof due to the difference in height between the top of the door at the front of the conservatory and the underneath of the soffit of the house. The concept design used a standard box gutter at the back of the conservatory and the roof raked upwards towards the front. This, combined with the side frames splayed outwards, gives an aesthetic and contemporary appeal normally associated with higher priced conservatories.

The concept was the creation of UK Design and Development Director Andrew Thomson, who said of the design "When owners of the conservatory sit inside and look outwards they have an expanding perspective both horizontally and vertically, thereby reinforcing the impression of a sweeping, spacious environment. The conservatory market is trending towards glass roofs; therefore the exhibit included Ultraframe's newly improved high performance Conservaglass."

Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback that we received during and after the show regarding the Elevation concept display, we are working hard to offer these concepts to our customers as part of our product range. Please revisit this site to get updates on this and other product developments.
